I’ve given countless literary award speeches in

I’ve given countless literary award speeches in my bedroom, imagined complete podcast interviews while commuting, and spoken to numerous famous creators who don’t even know I exist…YET.

And while Anthony Kiedis still doesn’t know who I am…I HAVE won an award for my writing and given a thank you speech and I HAVE been interviewed on a podcast (and in magazines multiple times).

Next week’s Sagittarius Full Moon is asking us to illuminate what it would really feel like to believe in our dreams!

When an artist gives up, so do the hearts of those

When an artist gives up, so do the hearts of those watching us.

I spent some quality time with my 12 year old nephew this weekend.

His eyes filled with pride as he shared his passion for Manga, illustrating, and creative writing.

He joined me upstairs as I worked on my novel, passionately crafting his graphic novel beside me.

Occasionally he paused to ask me questions about the publishing process and story development.

It was in a heavy moment later, when I realized:

I might be the only artist in this child’s life.

And not just an artist. A Sacred HeARTist.

Someone who is actively letting their heART lead the way.

Someone who believes art is a sacred calling.

I had a responsibility to show him what it looks like to be devoted to your heARTwork.

I had a responsibility to show him what it looks like to value and respect yourself as an artist.

I had a responsibility to show him resilience in the face of creative and personal challenges.

Children (and thus all humans) are naturally born with open hearts, but will quickly close up if we aren’t careful.

It is our responsibility as Awakened Creators to show them what it looks like to open and remain open.

My HeART Alignment Ritual (free in bio) is your sacred key for keeping your heart open along this creative journey.

A key, to unlock your devotion, time and again so you can more powerfully impact those around you.

Make sure whoever is watching your creative journey, doesn’t just see an artist.
